1. Introduction

Welcome to Assistsplace. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our online home service delivery platform. By using Assistsplace, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Assistsplace.

2. Eligibility

To use Assistsplace, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3. Scope of Service

Assistsplace connects customers with qualified professionals for home services such as cleaning, painting, lawn mowing, pet/dog walking, plumbing, electrical services, and more. These services are performed by independent contractors (“Service Providers”), not by Assistsplace.

4. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use Assistsplace.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to notify Assistsplace immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.

5. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through Assistsplace.
  • Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed securely through Assistsplace at the time of booking.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the Service Provider. Please review the cancellation terms provided during booking.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • Cancellations between 48-24 hours before the scheduled service: 25% of the booking price.
  • Cancellations between 24-12 hours before the scheduled service: 50% of the booking price.
  • Cancellations less than 12 hours before the scheduled service: 100% of the booking price.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed following Assistsplace’s refund policy.

7. Service Standards and Liability

  • Assistsplace strives to connect you with reliable and qualified Service Providers; however, we do not guarantee the quality of services provided.
  • Any disputes regarding services should be resolved through negotiation.
  • Service Providers commit to:
    • Professionally delivering services.
    • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
    • Safeguarding user data in line with Assistsplace’s Privacy Policy.
    • Addressing service-related concerns promptly.
  • If additional work is required beyond the Service Provider’s scope, another professional Service Provider must complete the work.

8. Prohibited Conduct

When using Assistsplace, you agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations.
  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm Service Providers.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Assistsplace, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Assistsplace. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. Privacy Policy

Your use of Assistsplace is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Modifications

Assistsplace may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the platform. Continued use of Assistsplace constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

Assistsplace reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful behavior.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Assistsplace’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
